The Welcome Desk website is designed for Sorbonne University’s international community. It supports students, faculty members, and researchers with their administrative procedures to ensure they enjoy the best possible conditions during their academic stay. The Sorbonne University website, on the other hand, is intended for the entire university community and covers all topics that may be of interest to it.

Several ways of accessing the information on the Welcome Desk website are provided so that you can find what you’re looking for in a way that suits your needs and preferences. You can complete a personalised navigation checklist, based on your profile or the stage you are at in your mobility experience, to help you find out about the procedures you’re interested in. You can also focus on “The essentials” or explore all the content available via the site's mega-menu at the top left of every page.

The Your checklist tool allows you to personalise your journey through the site's content. There are four steps to using it:

  1. Start by indicating whether you come under the student profile or the lecturer and researcher profile to activate a checklist tailored to your situation.
  2. Then, specify the stage you are at in your mobility experience: before your arrival, during your stay in France or before your departure.
  3. Select the pages you want to view first from the suggestions.
  4. Finally, use your personalised checklist to start your browsing journey.

You can return to the configuration page at any time to edit your selections. In addition, a generic checklist is available to download in PDF format for a quick overview of the main actions to be taken based on your profile.
