Accommodation offered by Sorbonne University
Sorbonne University offers a range of accommodation for its international students, lecturers and researchers: accommodation at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, CROUS accommodation and other options provided by our partners. Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris (CiuP)
This exceptional campus welcomes students (Master’s level only) and researchers (including PhD candidates) from all over the world. The CiuP offers a range of accommodation options in a pleasant setting at a spacious, multicultural site designed to foster community and exchange.
As a CiuP partner, Sorbonne University has access to accommodation reserved for its Master’s and PhD students on a non-degree-granting mobility programme with a partnership agreement (exchange mobility). Places are limited and allocated by each faculty or Doctoral College.
To apply for accommodation at CiUP under the agreement with Sorbonne University, contact your faculty or, if you are a PhD candidate, your Doctoral College.
Regional centre for university and school services (Centre Régional des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires - CROUS)
CROUS is a French public body responsible for various aspects of student life, including access to accommodation. It offers student accommodation based on social criteria and ranging from single rooms to flats of various sizes, including shared accommodation.
If you are a non-salaried PhD student, you are eligible for this kind of accommodation.
