Workspaces and librairies
You'll have access to over 4,500 spaces across numerous university libraries (BUs), including those at the Pierre & Marie Curie and Clignancourt campuses, with individual rooms, co-working spaces and multimedia rooms. View the Affluences app to check occupancy in real time.
A laptop loan service, specialist databases and documentary support are also available.
If you have a disability, the university libraries have specialist equipment that you can borrow or use on site.
Culture
Sorbonne University runs a number of free workshops (theatre, photography, writing, visual arts, choir, etc.) open to students. The Espace des Arts et de la Culture, located on the Pierre et Marie Curie campus, offers studios for music, dance, theatre and visual arts, as well as a video studio. You can also explore the La Passerelle gallery, which regularly hosts exhibitions and cultural events.
Sport & well-being
Over 80 sporting activities (recreational sports, license sports, competitions and disabled sports) are available through the Department of Physical and Sporting Activities (DAPS), the Sorbonne University Sports Association (ASSU), and the French University Sports Federation (FFSU). You can register via the Activités platform, which requires a medical certificate.
Student life & events

You can also take part in the Journées de l'engagement étudiant (Student Engagement Days), hackathons, after-work events and job fairs organised regularly by the student community.

Libraries and documentary resources
Staff have access to university libraries and digital resources with services designed for research and teaching (long-term loans, access to scientific journals, specialist documents). Training on how to use our documentary resources is also available.
Culture
Staff can take part in art workshops and cultural activities organised on campus. They can also join the COSU (Choir and Orchestra) or attend interpersonal cultural events organised by the Cultural Life Department.
